Thank you again for making Murder at Blood Mansion a reality so it can enjoy its 2nd Holiday season. 

I am pleased to tell you that we just got our 2nd run of Murder at Blood Mansion units delivered to our ware"house". A total of 2000 games! So things are moving very well.

If you are enjoying MABM  and would like to send one as a gift for the holiday season you have 2 options.

#1 Send me a paypal payment of $25 to [email protected] and include your address (sorry, United States only). I will send you the latest version that includes Rules 4.0. as soon as I get your request.

Dear Backer,

Can you believe it's been a little over 2 years since we ran our Kickstarter campaign!? (remember, 7-7-17)

Without you, we would not still be going strong today. 

We are getting ready to print a 2nd batch of games in time for the Holiday rush!!!

To be included with the new printing we were able to finally create Rules 4.0. You can also download them here https://www.bloodmansion.com/rules along with our 2 player game rules.

I would like to thank all the players and their feedback that helped us iron out gameplay, and clear things some small details up.

Also, everything will stay the same (Wood Tokens, all 9 characters, red cloth bag) We do think the quality, of games you got still, might be slightly better.

Again, those new rules are: 

1. Lady Blood's Scheme now allows her to steal 2 Suspect Cards instead of just 1. This balances her scheme against Stella's. She can steal them from other players hands or from the draw deck. Once the suspect has been discarded, her Scheme is out of the game.

 2. After all Schemes have been played by each player, all Schemes get reset and can be played again. This helps speed up "run on games."

 3. We now have rules for a 2 player game! Download those also on the Rules page.

INDIECADE 2018- 

Parker and I had a blast attending IndieCade this year. As you know MABM was honored as a special selection for this year's Festival, and was invited to play at Night Games. We had dozens of fans come and play and thanks to the thunderstorm outside we had a thrilling time INSIDE! I mean, what a blessing/curse it was to have the raging storm come, forcing everyone inside to play tabletop games!

INDIECADE OFFICIAL SELECTION 2018! - > Murder at Blood Mansion

Dear Backer,

The best way to get rid of my fears is to make games about them. And getting accepted into an exceptionally prestigious game festival as an official selection definitely adds fear back into the equation.

When I got the news, I was fairly confident that there must have been some sort of gaffe. How could such a morbid game be accepted into the premiere international event dedicated to celebrating independent games from around the globe? I immediately picked up the phone and called their offices hoping to clear up the confusion. To my shock this was no mistake. Not only was our game selected as an official "2018 IndieCade Festival Game Nominee", we will be 1 of 6 games featured at Friday "Night Games" and given our very own booth where we are expected to entertain and explain how this macabre game works to a hall full of strangers. Perhaps, I will just sit home in my dark room and pout while the two creators, Braden and Parker, do all the dirty work.

In case you are wondering, this is the letter they sent us. 

"Congratulations! IndieCade’s international panel of judges and curatorial team has selected your entry, Murder at Blood Mansion, as an IndieCade Festival 2018 Night Games Showcase. Your game was chosen out of a number of submissions, and we are thrilled to welcome you to our 2018 IndieCade Festival.

IndieCade's annual Festival will take place from October 11th - 13th in Santa Monica, California. As a selection, you will receive a dedicated space to showcase your work during Night Games, and are eligible for the jury and audience award. Night Games takes place Friday, October 12th, starting at 7pm. Additionally, throughout the Festival, there will be sessions, hands-on gameplay, networking opportunities, social events, practical workshops, artist talks, and most importantly the opportunity to share your game."

Enough about that. If you are in the area of Los Angeles on the night of Friday the 12, come looking for our game at the Friday Nights Game showcase from 7pm to -11pm. Let us know who you are and we'll be sure to stratigically embarrass you as one of our faithful Backers.
